Night Film Festival Poster

This poster was an assignment on a class I attended at The Danish School of Media and Journalism.

The typography in the poster has two goals, we're the font itself is a reference to early 20th century movie posters, while the layout itself and the yellow counters creates the illusion of skyscrapers and big city life. The slope running through the poster also references the slope of cinema seats.
